Dissolved Gas and Fermentation Analysis Systems

Our membrane inlet mass spectrometry and multistream systems support the measurement of dissolved species, volatile organic compounds and fermentation gases. The range spans benchtop laboratory analysis, portable groundwater studies and automated monitoring across multiple bioreactors.

Choose the right system for liquids, fieldwork or bioreactors

For direct analysis of gases, vapours and VOCs in liquids, the HPR-40 MIMS supports seawater, estuary, soil-core, headspace, and other laboratory samples, with a choice of probes, flow-through inlets and cells. The pQA packages membrane inlet mass spectrometry in a transportable case for quantitative dissolved species measurements in groundwater, fermentation cultures and environmental samples.

For multistream fermentation gas analysis, QIC BioStream connects to as many as 80 bioreactors and provides OPC connectivity for raw and derived values, such as oxygen uptake rate, carbon dioxide evolution rate and respiratory quotient. The range can be compared by sample environment, number of streams, inlet configuration, and analytical requirements to identify the system best suited to each workflow.
