Electrochemistry Mass Spectrometry Systems
Our electrochemistry range connects electrochemical experiments with real-time gas, vapour and volatile species analysis. The systems support differential and online electrochemical mass spectrometry, battery and fuel-cell research, electrolysis, electrocatalysis, and carbon dioxide reduction studies.
HPR-40 DEMS
The HPR-40 DEMS is a laboratory mass spectrometry system developed for in situ, real-time analysis of gases and volatile species in electrochemical research. Integrates seamlessly with the ECL Series of cells and accessories.
HPR-20 OEMS
The Hiden HPR-20 for OEMS is a gas analysis system configured for continuous analysis of evolved gases and vapours in electrochemistry as a function of the applied potential on the real-time scale.
FIB-SIMS
High-performance bolt-on secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) for existing focused ion beam (FIB) systems.
LAS
A unique dedicated system for leak analysis of sealed packages. The system is automated for simple use in quality control or R&D environments and is designed for analysing the leak tightness of small to medium size battery assemblies.
Real-time analysis of gases and volatile electrochemical products
The HPR-40 DEMS combines real-time analysis of gases and volatile species with the ECL Series, creating a research-ready turnkey system. ECL-Static and ECL-Insight provide a direct cell-to-mass-spectrometer interface, while ECL-Probe provides a probe option for different electrochemical workflows.
The HPR-20 OEMS provides continuous analysis of gases and vapours evolved from electrochemical experiments as a function of applied potential, supporting battery and energy-storage research.
The wider range also includes FIB-SIMS for bolt-on surface analysis and LAS for automated leak testing of battery assemblies and other sealed packages. Together, these products support distinct measurement workflows spanning DEMS, OEMS, surface analysis, and leak testing.
