SCINCO represented Hiden Analytical at the 39th Catalysis Symposium, held from 24–26 June 2026 at Bloomvista Hotel & Conference in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

The symposium provided an opportunity for researchers, professors and industry specialists to review recent developments in catalysis and reaction engineering through academic papers, presentations and technical discussion. Key topics included energy conversion, hydrogen production, CO₂ conversion, electrocatalysis and environmental catalysis, reflecting the continued importance of advanced analytical techniques in understanding catalyst performance and reaction behaviour.
At the event, the SCINCO team introduced Hiden Analytical gas analysis solutions to professors and researchers from universities across Korea. Discussions focused on analytical approaches for catalysis and electrochemical research, including real-time analysis of gaseous species generated during reactions, catalyst reaction monitoring, evolved gas analysis and the detection of electrochemical reaction products.
Relevant Hiden Analytical systems for these research areas include the HPR-20 R&D for real-time gas and vapour analysis in advanced research applications, CATLAB-PCS for catalyst characterisation, reaction testing and thermal analysis workflows, and QGA 2.0 for quantitative gas analysis. For electrochemical studies, HPR-20 OEMS and HPR-40 DEMS provide additional routes for monitoring evolved gases and reaction products during electrochemical processes.
Hiden Analytical and SCINCO would like to thank the professors and researchers who visited the SCINCO booth and showed interest in Hiden’s analytical instrumentation. SCINCO continues to support the catalysis research community in Korea by providing access to reliable gas analysis solutions and technical support for demanding research applications.
