Hiden Analytical will be attending the Netherlands’ Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC XXVII) from 2–4 March 2026 in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands. NCCC brings together the Dutch and wider catalysis and chemistry community to share new results, methods and collaborations across fundamental and applied catalysis research.

What to expect at NCCC XXVII 2026

  • A broad scientific programme spanning catalysis and chemistry, combining multiple national symposia under one event.

  • Presentations and discussions focused on catalyst discovery, characterisation, and reaction science, with strong participation across academia and industry.

  • A strong platform for exchanging practical insights on reaction pathways, selectivity, kinetics, and measurement approaches relevant to catalysis R&D.

  • A Benelux-wide community feel, with participants from the Netherlands and surrounding regions contributing to sessions and discussions.

If you’re working in catalysis or reaction chemistry and need real-time insight into evolving gas composition, meet Wolfgang and Christoph to discuss how quadrupole MS can support:

  • Catalyst characterisation and microreactor studies using the CATLAB-PCS (microreactor + MS) for rapid, reproducible catalyst testing and reaction studies.

  • Evolved gas analysis (EGA) and reaction monitoring with the HPR-20 R&D bench-top gas analysis system for high-sensitivity, fast-response measurements.

  • Electrocatalysis / CO₂ reduction / ORR / catalyst evaluation using HPR-40 DEMS for in situ, real-time analysis of gases and volatile products in electrochemical research.

Typical discussion points at the event

  • Fast, multi-species gas monitoring for kinetics and selectivity

  • Capturing transient behaviour during switching, pulses, ramps, and step changes

  • Practical integration into lab reactors, furnaces, flow rigs, and sampling interfaces
